SAP and K&V are very big in pharmaceutical companies, where Siebel has recently been targeting its next leg of growth. Some are wondering if SAP kicking in some SFA functionality at dramatically lower prices than SEBL's SFA might at least extend the sales cycle as the pharma's do evaluations of the two.

I have been wrong on the extent of SEBL's stock advance this year as I underestimated just how high mo' mutual funds would take this stock but I do have one word of warning for those who are long, Jeff Vinik is Siebels top public shareholder (he owns almost 2mm shares). Vinik is not someone you want as a top holder when the chart breaks technically. The stock hasn't broken down yet but the stock sure looks extended. Good luck.

Comments on TA, anybody??
