It doesn't really matter what goes on in "your world" as far as global warming is concerned.

Unless you can convince 4 BILLION or more people in China, India, Brazil, Indonesia and every other country
outside the U.S. and Europe to agree to continue to live a life that barely provides a subsistence then you're NOT going to make ANY difference.

You can be as altruistic as you want but it isn't going to accomplish anything other than making yourself feel better about yourself.

Here's a question for you. If all the power went out in your area and you knew it wasn't going to come on again and you had no recourse as far as going someplace else, would you REFUSE to cut down trees in your area to burn and provide heat for your family even though you knew it would contribute to global warming?

And don't say that question is irrelevant because that's the type of situation that BILLIONS of people on this planet are faced with everyday.
