John:

AEM, BINC, MWAR are worth looking at. I'm short all them.

I'm still short BINC as well. A little news today. They did a $3 million financing, common and warrants. Warrants were struck at $4 and $4.50.....Kinda weird, eh? Selling in the money warrants, a lay-up for the buyer. Just needs to be able to short against them and he'll be all set. The stock has not traded since the news hit the DJ wire. BTW, gross proceeds from the offering were $2.7 million, nice 10% haircut on the vig. This and BOST might be the two shorts I hold through the end of tax selling season (OK, maybe I hold PNDA too, we'll see.)

Elsewhere in the DrakesPort some recent tax selling shorts, now covered: UFEM +38%, SYSF +22%, still plugging away on TEAM, PETM, TRBO (+8, +9, +15% respectively) A couple that are giving me some trouble: INVN -13%, SIII -6% Non tax loss shorts still open: BOST +45%, PNDA +35%, BINC +28%

Also recently covered USAD for a gain of around 18% (did it at 9.50 dammit), GUC for about a 10% loss and HMSC for a 15% loss. Am I the only short on the planet to have lost money shorting HMSC? Sheesh. FWIW, Pennsylvaia Merchant started them with a "buy" yesterday. Will revisit them after the Jan Effect has come and gone. Also following RACE, UFEM and a bunch of others for shorting in late January/early February.

Happy holidays and good shorting to one and all!
