And you were asking what is so special? ---->Just last year, University of London astrobiologist David Waltham published a book titled Lucky Planet arguing that Earth is an exceedingly rare planet, and that the properties allowing for life are extremely rare in our universe: "Earth is a precious jewel possessing a rare combination of qualities that happen to make it almost perfect for sustaining life. "

Yes this true, just like we don't find fig trees & blueberry bushes fruiting in the middle of the Sahara in summer, complex life is probably a rare event in the galaxy. A reasonable man, a normal human being would consider this special.

Of course this David Waltham isn't saying much, the earth is also one of a kind right in our own solar system, its childsplay to draw his conclusions.
