A painful few years but it appears the gold bottom is in. We just jumped over the resistance. Now we will have to see how the test of $1,240 support works out. TA wise it might have been better to backfill for a while but events trump TA with this Swiss move.

I have $1,255 as the 200 dma and $1,253 as the 40 week ma. I would expect we test these as the market usually frowns on gaps.
