EaseUS ToDo BackUp WINPE Emergency Recovery Disks ...

<< Eric, I created several EaseUS WinPE emergency CDs and none worked. ... the iso file never booted. >>

Gottfried: That's interesting and I'm not sure what to make of it. I just retested both WinPE ISO imaged recovery disks I created after installing EaaseUS Todo BU Home 8.0 (paid) on my primary desktop (Win7 Home 64-bit). They both boot exactly as intended and point to my stored backups on an external USB Go-Flex drive when they finish the boot. I can't recall whether I used 3rd party burning software to create them. I don't think I did although I have several up to date burners installed (but not ImgBurn). I'll probably will burn another disk and test it later today.

I'm running an older version of Todo BU (Free) on my secondary desktop (Win8.1 Pro 32-bit). Later today I'll update that system to EaseUS Todo Backup Free 8.0 (downloaded from Major Geeks), create bootable WinPE disks and test them and confirm back how they work.

The YouTube video here todo-backup.com suggests Nero (which I don't use) as a 3rd party burning program.

Cheers,
