I'm back in for the long run.Scored on the dip.. I keep getting advice but I know what I'm doing.Tell me what you think..... I had a big loss in some of my investments from the oct correction..Margin problems.. I had more loss than gain...I wanted to make the best of the loss so I sold some dell that I bot a while back..Now I'm even on yearly gains and owe no cap gains. I dont have to take old profits from dell into new year . I'm bullish on dell and I have a new start and when it comes tax time then my gains will be a wash. If I had waited to sell after new year then I would get what ever tax applied and be able to use this years loss.
