I recently read Individual Investors Magic 25 issue.
It features CMGI--a stock which we have already discussed.
Their analysis mentions one of things which attracts me
to these type of stocks: the value oriented nature.
Stocks which own other stocks often suffer from a conglomerate
effect which makes them worth less than the sum of their
parts. As these stocks offer rights or spin-off their
holdings to shareholders they pay out the hidden value.
II values CMGI at much more than its current price due
to value of holdings.
Has anyone been buying anything we have been talking about
due to recent tech sell off?

Bruce
