But these people have no entitlement to fast Internet or to watch streaming movies. They choose live in sparsely populated areas where services are limited. The price you pay for that is limited access to Internet.


I have 6mbps DSL and stream Netflix in HD just fine. Data limits are becoming a bigger problem. For folks around me that can't get DSL, the only option is satellite internet, for which data limits (as well as latency) are severe. Even for DSL, ATT has stealthily imposed data limits that one has to monitor to keep from running up large fees.
