Your examples just illustrate my point. Especially if you note that when Google Fiber wires a new area, the existing companies suddenly are able to offer faster service and/or lower prices.
You claimed that the barriers to entry are high because you think we need Obama to give us faster and more ubiquitous broadband access.

Yet here you are showing how free market competition is making broadband better and cheaper for all.

All you need to do is reduce regulation that hampers said competition, and everything else will just take care of itself. Even Failcast will figure it out.

Big government never will.
