Really? Is it via the CO2 in the air or the nitrogen level? Osmosis? Absorbed via a semi-permeable membrane from the drinking water? Do hair follicles (or their remnants) decipher signals from Jupiter and/or the Alpha Centauri? Do solar flares send hidden signals to decoder rings (or ear rings for those so inclined) that all liberal whackjobs have?

Do the home schooled scientists in Africa, Siberia, and South American rain forests figure this shit out too? Maybe they use pythagorean theorems using forearm or thigh pimples or blemishes with moving sun shadows?
