..pushing for a pipeline for oil from Canada to be sold to the Chinese from Louisiana,

The facts are:

1) 50% of pipeline capacity is dedicated to Bakken production from the Dakota's.

2) 50% of pipeline capacity is dedicated to Canadian production. Of that, 50% is booked by Exxon, a US corporation

3) Most of the heavy oil will go to Gulf Coast refineries, where over $500 million was spent a few years ago upgrading to handle heavy crude

4) Canadian heavy crude will displace declining Venezuelan heavy crude that supplies up to 25% of refinery crudes in SW USA.

5) Stopping the XL pipeline is a breach of USA-Canada energy trade under NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement).

I hate to use strong language, but Obama is a liar and has lied to American electorate, and is undermining trust in the USA as an ally and trade partner, not only to Canada, but to the world.
