Ali, seems as if those who came up short are the poor shareholders of MCCI. Their shares dropped nearly to zero (from $8/share) last month when Chapter 11 was filed, and now they get only whatever is left from the $90 mm after all other creditors, noteholders and preferred shareholders get their cuts. Too bad; I know how I'd feel if I were them. Bill. P.S. there is an MCCI thread here on SI.
