Kaiser says buy Probe Mines

2015-01-05 02:57 MT - In the News

John Kaiser, writing in a Spec Value Hunter Comment for Dec. 15, 2014, says buy Probe Mines Ltd. at $2.90. The editor first recommended the stock on Sept. 18, 2007, at 90 cents. He said sell on Jan. 5, 2009, at eight cents. Assuming an investment of $1,000, selling at eight cents would have resulted in a loss of $912. He said buy again on Oct. 13, 2011, at $1.95, and then sell again on Jan. 2, 2012, at $2.05. Assuming another $1,000 investment, selling at $2.05 would have resulted in a $50 profit. After that sale, he said buy the stock back immediately at $2.05, and buy two more times, on June 26, 2013, at $1.55, and on Feb. 4, 2014, at $2.59. An investment of $1,000 for each of those three buys would now be worth $4,402. Mr. Kaiser says Probe cleared a major milestone on Dec. 10, when it paid $25-million and six million shares to a local lumber company for a critical wedge of land at the Borden Lake gold project in Ontario. Probe is now preparing an infill drill program, and plans to push the release of a Borden preliminary economic assessment into 2015 so the study can include results from the new piece of land. Probe is a good buy for 2015, Mr. Kaiser says, noting that the company is about to benefit from a winter ice drill program, and the price of gold seems to have stabilized around the $1,200 level.
