My Alma Mater, the University of Montana, named the library the Maureen and Mike Mansfield Library, which is very appropriate as he was also a graduate there. It is a very fine library.

My life-long friend's father, Bud Moore, had file cabinets full of his journals, and ten thousands of 35 mm slides of his outdoor activities. These have been placed at the Mansfield Library. Bud never graduated 8th grade, but is a published author and noted conservationist with an honorary PhD at the UofM. My friend and his sister created a memorial scholarship fund there. news.umt.edu
