Ted, the father in that new sitcom is the one who plays Kim Jong-Un in the Rogen-Franco film The Interview. One of my friends from college also knows him personally.

He's the reason why I wanted to see The Interview in the first place. Not because of its so-called "anti-North Korea" propaganda (as if movies like Team America and Die Another Day didn't already have those themes).

But rather, I saw the guy who played Kim Jong-Un, and I'm thinking, "Wow, that guy looks hilariously like a manly, misogynistic caricature of the North Korean leader. If anything, Kim Jong-Un should be flattered by the portrayal."
