Yeah, but aren't they currently adding coal fired power plants? Probably but then, there is this: In 2013, China was the world's leading installer of solar photovoltaics, adding a record 11.3 gigawatts (GW) of capacity to a cumulated total of 18.3 GW. en.wikipedia.org Because they aren't a democracy, whatever China sets its mind to do, it does......and usually faster than the US.
