You also assumed that a short term drop in oil prices would make a pipeline that will be in use for decades uneconomic. Why do you think the drop in oil price will be short term??? There's a glut in production world wide and the Saudi's say they have no intention of slowing it down.....clearly their strategy is to drive the frackers an coal tar guys out of business. If correct the KXL is a waste of money no matter whose it is and I would love to see the Koch's lose some of their money. btw, on whose land (who will pay for it) will the pipeline be built and tell me again why it has to be built on US territory...
