The records of past temperatures are all recent and the data we do have has been tampered with, so no, the latest panic announcement does not cause me any great concern.

The Earths natural temperature fluctuations are predominantly controlled by our relationship to the Sun. The Earths average temperature has been much warmer in the past than it is now and it has been much colder. The current media induced panic over "AGW" is a scam that is being used by Socialists to redistribute wealth and impose a political agenda that would not be accepted by voters if it were not being falsely portrayed as a "CRISIS". We know this because the science is being manipulated to arrive at a preconceived conclusions and the politicians are using it as a thinly veiled excuse for social engineering. If you want to divest yourself of all your hard earned wages and live in a cave, under the delusion that you are "saving the Planet" I have no objection to that, Just keep your hand off of my wallet and out of my pocket. CO2 is not a pollutant and the Earth can absorb and use much higher levels than it does currently. In fact increased CO2 levels may be beneficial in many ways.
