I think the SEC rule has merit. We are currently in a price anomaly. It is not IMO appropriate to pin a corporation with a single point in time valuation - either if it is very high or very low.

I will be interested to see the market reaction tomorrow.

What can never get a full handle on is the value of their midstream assets. The one midstream MLP I own has been on a valuation tear lately.
