I agree with the above except for #3. Voice quality is extremely high for G* because it is a CDMA system. That in itself makes for better voice quality than the TDMA based Iridium. As for voice delay, neither system will have any perceptible voice delay. A delay problem is possible when using GEO sats at 35,000 km but not LEOs at 1400 km. Are Iridium's satellites orbiting at 700km? That seems awful low. In any case, the voice delay point is not valid.
