Louisiana does not have much to offer, that's a fact.

But New Orleans is not a place for someone who is easily traumatized these days. Mismanagement of Katrina by two terrible mayors (Nagin, now in prison, and Landrieu, who ought to be) has left the city in a shambles.

It is a very dangerous place.

Shreveport is the only really secure city in LA these days. And it isn't bad.
