Economic policy between 2000 and 2008 did create a 50% decline in the value of the US Dollar. Warren Buffet's observation was correct.

Then economic policy changed, and the value of the US Dollar has been rising and recovering since that time.

Bad news for Republicans who were shorting the Dollar. But good news for Americans.
