>> I don't see hypocrisy...
It seems that many well educated Europeans do: Message 29908536
>> There are LOTS of ways in which Europe's history with their Jewish population and the legacy of their treatment in the prior century...
And more ways for people from their colonies. So I don't see why one history is more relevant than the other. Human beings are driven by emotions first and logic second. When Europe manages to make the Muslims feel as comfortable as the Jews, it will see a different behavior.
>> Haters of Jews... haven't gone away.
Haters of Jews, haters of gays, white supremacists, black prejudices, black haters, Arab haters, Western haters, on and on and on. There is no shortage of bigotry. I don't see why we should approve of one set of bigots more than another set.
>> semitic Jews in Europe haven't been killing westerners while trying to impose the Jewish religion on the locals
Nonsense! Their situations are so different on so many levels that you cannot make that kind of argument. When the Jews were fighting for their place, Begin did not hesitate to blow up a hotel and kill civilians. IF and when a modern and Islamic nuclear country is established to defend the Muslims on the international stage - as Israel does for Jews - then you will find both the West and the Muslims will behave very differently towards each other. In the mean time here is a quote from a former top CIA counter terrorism head:
“Hollande, like Cameron, like Obama, like Bush, wants to keep a lid on the fact that we're at war with these people and they're responding to what we do and not who we are.
It's extraordinary to listen to Hollande and Obama. In the first place, three people trained, set up a beautiful operation, conducted it and got away and all Hollande and Obama can call them is cowards. Well, we're getting beat by these cowards every time we turn around.” |
