Vietnam did not validate any domino theory of Communism spread throughout SE asia.

That's nonsense.

Saddam was NOT a "stabilizing factor." We were engaged in a low-grade conflict with him for more than a decade before Bush decided to remove him. He was leading the US military around by the nose for the duration of the Clinton administration.

He had attacked Iran only a decade before OUR engagement with him started which led to the deaths of 100s of thousands, perhaps a million Iraqis and Iranians.

To suggest that Iraq was a "stabilizing factor" is just stupid, and no thoughtful person would make that claim.
