Well just wow!

Not sure what is happening, but I just got off the phone with an APPLE tech, and between the two of us, we managed to find a work around.(BTW, I uninstalled, and reinstalled iTunes, and also downloaded an update for the CD driver, but it didn't help.)

This is what I have to do to get iTunes to recognize that I have inserted a new CD into my D drive. Once a CD is in the D drive, I have to go to my "computer" and click on the "D" drive. When I do that iTunes sees the playlist, and I am able to proceed. The tech said he'd never heard of anything like this, and asked if I find a way to get it work normally to please call back and let them know how I did it.

Crazy!
