Our American ancestors fought proudly to stop the killing of the Jewish people in Germany during World War II. We lost relatives in the Nazi battles-----protestant, catholics and Jews. The fact is that the Speaker of the House has no rule or any known paragraph in the Constitution that states that he or she must get the President's approval to invite a person to speak to the House of Representatives. Israel is our friend. We are Israel's friend. It is appropriate and long overdue. Kudo's to Mr. Speaker! mj
