If he bought his SAT scores, they are pretty low. When you buy an SAT exam you get close to the old 1600. If he didn't buy his SAT scores, based on the 1210 score, there is no evidence of needing to buy grades either. He served in the military and flew reserve jets against Cuba, remember the Cold War. What did YOU do? I served in the U.S. Navy and left as a Lieutenant Command and still work for the U.S. Navy. Again, what did YOU do?
