Jan... Yes this registration is different. 144 is usually done by original or ground floor investors. They also have restrictions on the amount that they can sell during a quarter, usually no more that 10% of their holdings. My experience is that when anyone registers there stock they plan on selling at least some right away. Renn has probably sold their stock before we saw the registration. Probably vs short sales, one or the other. No problem on float... if we get the right news.
