Liberalism has done a much better job of it than conservatism.
No it hasn't.

Look at the places in America with the biggest gaps between rich and poor. They also happen to be liberal strongholds.

One of the most ironic sights is the drive southbound on North Capitol Street in D.C. In the distance you see the Capitol, but when you look to your left and your right, you see urban blight.

Guess what? D.C. is a liberal stronghold. If it ever became a state, its congressional representatives would be Democrats for the next 100 years.

That's how miserably liberalism has failed to bridge the gap between rich and poor. In trying hard to do that, they accomplish the exact opposite.
