Well, he'll be discounted by the Left as a religious extremist. Carson is, at this point, an unknown quantity politically, but he is quite obviously going to be the most intelligent, highly accomplished candidate in the race.

What we don't know at this point is whether bring a sensible policy agenda that can be articulated for the small minded.

And of course, whether the Left are racists or just race baiters.
