I am open to many possibilities, especially since we don't have a clue about the truth. At least some of what the late Lloyd Pye proposed seems plausible, although many of his approaches are not based in science and his research techniques leave much to be desired.

Still, I think the most thought-provoking point of his work is that our DNA is significant flawed. As humans, we have a lot of genetic flaws as compared to the other flora and fauna of Earth. Why?

Human beings are the oddballs on this planet. Objectively looking at humanity as compared to the remainder of the planet would easily lead one to ask, "What's wrong with this picture?"

The biggest problem that I have with his conclusions is that if aliens (the Annunaki, as Pye asserts) were smart enough to travel the vast distances of interstellar space and create human beings, doesn't it stand to reason that they wouldn't need humans as slave labor to mine gold?

This video is nearly two hours long, so if you don't have a couple of hours to kill, you may want to read the introduction to his book instead.
