HI John; Also before that the toung and cheek leak "they" put
about maybe some bigy buying them out..what a crock..they had
to give ANS away in order to stay solvent, that world com will
furnish them band width at below market for the next four years,
is all the payment they get..and I expect worldcom gave them that
deal, to get ANS so as just to clear the books of all the money they were already owed by AOL that she couldn't pay. It was that or
forclose on an already backrupt company. Takeing ANS out of her
assests ought to drive the book value even more on the minus
side. I don't know if that band width worldcom gave them at
a discount is transferable to another company ( sellable )
I doubt it.
BTW B&N stock seems to have fallen with that news also.
