Thanks for the confirmation. Here's how it works .... if there's an unwanted downtrend, you call it a quality control failure and/or if there's a station move, you just change old temps down to give yourself a nice uptrend. When did this adjustment happen? Between 2012 and 2014.

Was there really a quality control failure? How come they didn't know about it till after 2012? Were there station moves? If there were, how would one know how to adjust for them and why wait till after 2012 to make the adjustment? And what is the likelihood the adjustment would be to cool the past?
