Day 14 . . . weight = 258 . . down 6-pounds in 2-weeks.

I am tired of posting every meal every day . . . so instead,
I will be posting commentary every week regarding, in general, what I am eating and how I am doing.
By biggest hurdle is eating at night.
My wife and I love to stay up eating, drinking, and watching TV (DVR'd shows) every night.
We have both cut back, but too often give in and "pig out".
We are determined to cut that out!

The first two weeks I've been eating mostly pork as my meat . . this week I have switched to chicken.
I slow-cooked a whole chicken (hen) in a crock pot over the weekend so that covers most of my lunches this week.
I am eating all of the resulting juices and skin as well .. very fatty . . and a great! source of calcium and magnesium . . great! for our joints.
Remember, when trying to lose weight, fat is your friend.
It is grains and sugar that are your enemies.
I have some cookies now and then along with popcorn once in a while . . .
the key is to "cheat in moderation".
