This isn't "capitalism", IMO. Sure, the financial rules allow companies to be mismanaged and then leave behind investors and creditors in a bankruptcy but that's NOT the basis for capitalism

It isn't capitalism at its best, but it is capitalism nonetheless. There are a wide range of activities that are effectively permitted within capitalism and some of those activities include exploiting other people in various ways, sometimes intentionally, sometimes inadvertently.

And it isn't just investors and creditors that can get hurt by bad management, but also employees, their families and their neighbors.

Capitalism has many faces, and those faces aren't either all good or all bad.
