We could get a failing rally if the Fed realizes that it's managing the world's reserve fiat and tries to jawbone the dollar lower today. As Jim Grant so succinctly summed it up - "It's raining currencies the world over". My bet is that they will soldier on with pretending to hike rates until there's an accident in the US market. I just can't figure out why I don't feel comfortable with tenured economics professors running the global financial system.
