There are large chunks of Dallas county I haven't seen in 25 years. But I think it would be safe to say that other than the edges of the southeast corner, it mostly is.

The George Bush Turnpike made areas outside the 635 loop accessible and the result was an acceleration in the pace of movement from downtown to northernmost areas. I continue to be astonished by the amount of growth from 635 north.

OTOH, Oak Cliff and the Fair Park areas really do need redevelopment. I think the elimination of the I345 connector could make sense; it was built before modern day standards for these kinds of highways and the design is functionally harmless but takes up an immense amount of space and is as unsightly as it gets.
