Shoulder season starts in about April as Spring weather started to kick in. It is warmer so demand for heating oil is reduced but it is still not warm enough to require air conditioning. Driving season starts when summer vacations start to kick in so somewhere close to June though the market tend to anticipate the change over so the price of gas and indirectly oil tends to rally a bit earlier. Children get off from school starting in June.
