At the time Krugman just wanted to stimulate wildly suggesting we were domed if we didn't.
No he didn't! He said we would have a long haul get out of recession if we didn't have more stimulus.

That result and prediction by Krugman just did NOT happen.

Yes it did! You just weren't paying attention. It's now five years later and we still haven't fully recovered.
