PowerPoint is a very "general" animal. The nuts and bolts aren't the same as Visio in terms of object relationships and manipulation. Further, Visio is more scalable, supporting both larger and embedded diagrams. Check out the "Developing Visio Solutions" manual and you'll see what I mean. And I can't see corporation analyzing process flow for ISO 9000 using PowerPoint. In short, PowerPoint is for presentations with bullet items, graphs, etc. Visio is for object-oriented diagramming and process flow, as well as application programming. Dan
