Obama did such a great job that he's the first president for decades that presides over a large drop in median income, i.e. ripping off both the poor and middle class, as well as promoting lack of privacy per Amendment 4 and Section 215 of the Patriot Act when they approved an extension. The so called Progressive party loves to peer through bedroom windows and private correspondence like a pervert.
And of course Obama crows about unemployment being down while completely, like the Fed, ignoring what has happened to the participation rate, which would raise the current U3 unemployment rate to the 8% range if it hadn't crashed.
And old Slick Willie, another Demolisher, discontinued building and reporting the U7 unemployment rate, which included *all* discouraged workers, unlike U6. Per my and others attempts to reconstruct it, it's currently over 20%. If you can get over your blindered ideology and worship, all you have to do to confirm it is look at the huge damage to the employment to population ratio during Obama's terms.
Be sure not to look at how many of the crooks (TBTF based and others) who aren't in jail due to the political "contributions" to Demolishers and their other friends that have helped relatively trash the country. How many millions of people lost their houses and life savings from lack of effective prosecution and other actions and inactions, and promotion of a housing bubble from "great" economists like Bubbles Krugman, another Demolisher who has never met a bubble he didn't like. Super duper way to run a country! /sarc
And as usual, liberals use whatever stat about debt that makes them look best (including massive use of logical fallacies), and that usually ignores just the lying BS in the CPI-U. Obama is far ahead of ALL of the last five presidents (especially including Reagan) in Federal debt growth, inflation adjusted and per capita. And there goes your wimpy and wrong PR based data about Demolishers actually and truly being the tax and spend party to beat all comers.
Maybe I'll add the guns and butter promoting LBJ to the chart. He really helped cause the great inflation of the 70s that ripped off and demolished so many millions of citizens, let alone continuing and promoting the Vietnam war which killed and injured over 2 million people. What a wonderful track record, and I didn't even include how many killed or injured in the Middle East under Obama! /sarc
The last time I posted this, I heard nothing but crickets from the "Progressive" party worshipers. The next time I build a chart like this, I'll use total debt using the accrual method and show it actually produces an even worse picture and result from the tax and spend "experts".

Perhaps you're unaware of just one of very many - Saban Capital Group and Haim Saban. It was founded by longtime Clinton campaign financier Haim Saban, who, along with his wife and their family foundation, contributed between $10 million and $25 million to the Clinton Foundation through 2013.
Last year, he told Bloomberg Television that he will spend “as much as needed” to help elect Clinton president in 2016. (sounds like the fabulous Koch brothers, do you get a hint now?)

Bill Clinton made more than $3 million as an adviser to InfoUSA after leaving the White House in January 2001 and also was given options on 100,000 shares of stock, which were never exercised. In 2010, Gupta paid a $7.4 million settlement after the Securities and Exchange Commission charged him with misappropriating company funds, and he later paid a larger sum to settle a shareholder suit.

But the real issue is that playing the political party game allows the real problem that both parties are complicit and well beyond stupid to go on, and allows politicians from both parties to avoid helping actually dealing with the real problems like campaign finance and rampant entitlement worship, a.k.a. bread and circuses which has never ever worked throughout human history.
Preaching (as in practicing the literal religion of a chosen and very faulty ideology) about how it's all the fault of the other party plays directly into the hands of poor ethics and massive irresponsibilty, and doesn't exactly augur well for the future.
Neither party has even vaguely clean hands, and the refusal of the religiously and ideologically blindered to even vaguely see it, let alone admit it, is a mark of a failed and failing culture and country. They both worship "the end justifies the means", etc. |
