After days of intense fighting, Russian-backed rebels in eastern Ukraine claimed Monday they had seized control of Donetsk airport once again. The Ukrainian military denied this but acknowledged that the fighting for the rubble-strewn trophy had been fierce.


If Obama hadn't interceded, Russia would have annexed all the Ukraine by now and Russia's current financial woes would be cut at least by half.

And btw, I think for the first time since its independence, the Ukraine is on its way to becoming a viable nation state.
