CVX Chevron stresses dividend priority as it ends 2015 share buybacks Chevron (NYSE: CVX) recovered much of its earlier losses prompted by a halt in its stock buyback program, as perhaps investors were somewhat reassured when CEO John Watson stressed that the company's dividend, currently $1.07/quarter, remained the " highest priority."
