Boyce/fisk The Bible 'totin and Bible 'quoten man. "Thy word have I had in mine heart that I might not sin against thee." Sin is a three letter word with a grea big I (sIn) in the middle.
Sin= A transgression against God.
Sin= We need to take personal responsibility for it.
Sin= "For by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world."
*Sin= "For SOME have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
Sin= "For the wages of sin is death..."
Wouldn't God have been foolish to have had Jesus die for our sins if it were a meaningless act? Imagine the cruel death upon the cross for the sins of humankind---then finding out God didn't have to do that, for if a person would just somehow be more good than bad---that would be good enough. If I'd just let my "good works" outweigh my "bad deeds", I'll be okay. What do you think?
*This verse is purposely misquoted---look and see where---it is in Romans 3:23
