It is and I, of course, agree with all you said.

But who is irresponsible? The people who actually did it? Or the people who voted to keep some of the very politicians who did it, knowing there was not popular support for it? Certainly, many of those who were responsible lost their jobs over it.

But some of the most important political figures involved are still in office. At the end of the day the American People who voted for these turkeys after they pulled this stunt are culpable to some extent. If irresponsible leadership gets itself elected who are you going to blame for that? The politicians or the voters? The complacency really pisses me off more than the politicians do.
