* 1 STOCK - 1 WEEK * Update 12-17 The longs continue to do well although two more shorts have joined the fortunate group. The top 3 remained in the same order: only the percentages changed (to protect the innocent). All but two of the not so fortunate group are only down fractionally and are well within striking distance of the positive column. The other two of us (Gary and me) are well below everyone else. Actually, my pick for the week is stinking up the joint. I could have sworn I said long...:) The group averages are still positive although not as much as yesterday. The group average decline is due primarily to my lousy pick which has a firm grasp of last place. I am darn glad this week that this is not real money. Given our point structure, there is no motivation for anyone in the negative to close out a position to limit a loss. As a result, the group average will always be less than it would be in the real world. As always, correction notices are welcome. Happy trading tomorrow....
