For converting wma to mp3, I found 2 pretty good free options.

Option #1 * LameXP - Multi-Format Audio-Encoder Front-end

This program has no adware and no pups in the install and it is totally free. It also has numerous options.
It can be a little complicated though, and there is an optional AAC codec by Nero that is also free. The only issue with the extra Nero codec, is that they want your email address for their download, but LameXP maintains most of its features without the Nero codec.

Option #2 * Free WMA to MP3 by ConvertAudioFree

This program is super easy and only converts wma files to mp3 or wav and can even be run from a flash drive. However, care is necessary installing the program to avoid installing PUPS (Potentially Unwanted Programs) but as long as you decline and uncheck any unwanted software, it's not a problem.
