French soldiers attacked outside Jewish community center in Nice Daily Telegraph (UK) ^ \| 4:00PM GMT 03 Feb 2015 \| David Chazan Two soldiers on patrol near a Jewish community center in Nice were wounded in a knife attack on Tuesday as France maintains heightened security measures in the wake of the Paris terror attacks last month. One soldier was stabbed in the cheek and the other in the arm. Their injuries are not serious. A third soldier with them was unhurt. The assailant, named as Moussa, was arrested; but two people who may have been with him were believed to have fled, a police union official said. The attacker was carrying two knives. He was arrested thanks to the intervention of two tram workers who happened to be passing, and another man, according to the mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi.
