McConnell says he worries about the pain those climate policies inflict on coal-dependent communities in Kentucky and elsewhere in Appalachia. Obama could care less about those concerns proposing a fund to pay miners put out of work as coal demand slumps, and to help shore up pension benefits. He would also funnel $1 billion over five years to help refurbish abandoned coal-mining sites with roller coasters and merry-go-rounds. Damn you, McConnell! How dare you praise the coal industry. You have done shit for the state of KY in all the years you've been in the Senate. How many people in that state have died of black lung thanks to coal? How many people smoke meth to counter the misery of working in the mines? You POS, McConnell.......do something positive for your state instead of shilling for the coal industry.
